Joining Nursery

The number of pupils to be admitted to our Nursery class stands at seven morning children and seven afternoon children.

Children can apply to the school office to join Nursery from the term after their third birthday.

Our Nursery hours can be tailored to suit your family’s needs. The Nursery children quickly adapt to our school routines and this really helps them with transition into reception, as they are already familiar with our staff and the other children.

We can provide the 30 hours as well as flexible wrap around before and after school care.

Nursery Education Funding hours are available (15 hours) as well as 30 hour term time places. Additional sessions outside funding will be charged at £6 per hour or £1.50 per ¼ hour and should be booked by contacting Mrs Goodwin in the school office.  Sessions outside funded hours will be charged through Parent Pay.

Please note that admission to our Nursery does not automatically guarantee a place in Reception.

Children can apply to join Reception the September after they turn four. If your child was born between 1 September 2016 and 31 August 2017, he or she will be starting Reception in our Academy from September 2021. We offer a ‘move up day’ in July, where children already in Nursery at All Saints move up to Reception, and children at other nursery settings can have a taster day at our academy. Children in other year groups also ‘move up’ with the Year Four children visiting their next school. We also operate an open door policy whereby with an appointment from the school office a tour of the school can be given at a convenient time.

Anyone wishing to join All Saints at any other time throughout the year will require an in year admission form from their current school, but will be warmly welcomed.
