Wraparound Care Playworker Part Time

Hours: Tuesday – Thursday, 3:15 PM – 5.30 PM (Term Time Only plus Sept INSET Days)

Contract: Permanent Contract.

Salary: Grade 3 FTE £25,583.0

Location: All Saints CE Academy, Denstone.

Start date: 1st September, 2026

We are seeking a motivated and responsible Wraparound Club Playworker to support the
delivery of our after-school provision. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, and
enjoys working with children in a supportive setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising children in a safe, caring, and stimulating environment
• Supporting with the planning and overseeing of enrichment and recreational
activities
• Acting as a key holder, opening and securing the setting as required
• Assisting with the completion and maintenance of risk assessments
• Ensuring the welfare and safety of all children at all times
• Supporting personal care needs, including changing nappies as required

Requirements:

• Paediatric First Aid trained – or willing to complete training
• Experience working with children in a similar setting is desirable
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Level 1 Safeguarding trained – or willing to complete training

This is a term-time only role with working hours of 3:15 PM – 5.30 PM on Tuesday,
Wednesday and Thursday.

17 Hours – Wednesday 9am – 3pm and Thursday and Friday 8.30am – 3.30 pm, with a 1
hour lunch break.

All Saints CE Academy, Denstone is looking to appoint a highly organised and effective part
time Clerical Assistant who is committed to ensuring All Saints provides educational
excellence within our local community. The successful candidate will have the opportunity
to work with the Office Services Manager, Executive Headteacher, Deputy Executive
Headteacher, the MAT business team and the wider school community to create efficient
school processes and high quality practices to ensure the smooth operation of its services.

We are looking for someone with a proven track-record of excellence in a professional office
environment; the skills and expertise of a highly effective administrator, combined with a
flexible approach. The successful candidate will also have knowledge of financial processes,
MIS systems and GDPR.
